World No.1 Novak Djokovic looks to make it to the semifinals of the 2020 Dubai Open as he meets friend and rival, Karen Khachanov, in the quarterfinals. Who will book their spot in the semifinals?

Karen Khachanov has shown some great composure and tennis here in Dubai and this is because he absolutely loves the conditions here. Khachanov loves the high bounce of the ball as it allows him to take the ball early and get on the front foot. Khachanov beat Denis Novak in straight sets to book his spot in the quarterfinals and he will now face Novak Djokovic. Khachanov knows how to win against Djokovic, but he will need to make sure he is ready to put on one of the best displays of his career. Khachanov is great, but since his last victory over Djokovic, his level has gone down.

Novak Djokovic has not yet lost a match in 2020. Djokovic won all of his matches at the ATP Cup, at the Australian Open, and here in Dubai. Djokovic is yet to lose a set in Dubai and he has absolutely dominated every match he's played. Djokovic has so much experience and he is the best returner in the game. Djokovic can dominate and move opponents around the court with ease, making them overplay and make more mistakes. Djokovic wants to win here in Dubai, and he is definitely the favourite to do so.

This will be the fourth meeting between both player, with Djokovic leading the H2H 2-1. Djokovic recently beat Khachanov a few months ago in straight sets, and I do not see this match going any differently than that. Djokovic has so much more talent and experience in the game that he is able to absolutely dominate him.
