Andrey Rublev played a tough first set against Filip Krajinovic. Krajinovic was dominating, serving for the set and even winning the tiebreak, but Rublev saved a lot of set points to turn it around. Krajinovic after that just seemed very ill. Krajinovic was slow in his movement, his face was very red and he seemed to have the flu or something. Krajinovic was able to continue the match without retiring, but Rublev ran away with the match 7-6/6-0. Rublev has had a great start to 2020 and he knows he can challenge here in Dubai.

Dan Evans has had to show great mental strength having come through two extremely tough matches here in Dubai. Evans beat Pierre-Hughes Herbert in 3 sets and was able to show us his strength both physically and mentally.
