Tommy Paul has had a great start to 2020. Paul has already gotten some big victories under his belt this year, such as his defeat of Grigor Dimitrov at the Australian Open, but he has also shined on the hard-courts in the United States. Paul is a very powerful player and he is someone with incredible mental toughness. Paul never gives up in a match and he will always look to make his opponent play one more ball and hope they make a mistake. Paul has a lot to learn, such as not overpowering that he hits the ball out of the court, but rather continue the rally. However, Paul will learn these things quickly and he will be part of the future of tennis.

Alexander Zverev came through an initial scare in his first-round victory against Jason Jung, beating Jung 7-6/6-1. Jung started out well in that match, taking advantage of Zverev's double faults and bad attitude. However, Zverev remained composed and got himself back into the match. Zverev has played incredibly well in 2020, reaching the semifinals of the 2020 Australian Open, and seemingly reducing his double fault issue. Zverev will want to make sure he doesn't start out slow against Paul who can take more advantage than Jung.
