Stefanos Tsitsipas meets Hubert Hurkacz in the first-round of the 2020 Rotterdam Open.

Tsitsipas had a bad start to 2020. The Greek put a lot of pressure on himself, saying he wants to win a Grand Slam and compete with the best, however, he did not even make it far in the Australian Open. Tsitsipas has incredible potential and an incredible game. The Greek will become a Grand Slam champion, but he only plays his best when he is playing against the best players in the world. When Tsitsipas plays lower ranked players, sometimes he loses concentration. This is a bad trait, but it does not mean he cannot adapt. Tsitsipas will be the best in the world at one stage of his career.

Hurkacz is a solid player. Hurkacz is tall, strong and determined to make a name for himself. Hubert will want to make the 2020 season a stand out season for him, and with his solid game he might be able to do so. Hurkacz already won his first title in 2019 and there will be more in 2020. He is able to beat the best players in the world, but he needs to demonstrate this more often. Hurkacz will be a stand out player in 2020.

These two have met 5 times before, with 4 of those meetings going the way of Tsitsipas. Tsitsipas is of course the better player, the more experiences, and the better ranked. Tsitsipas is determined to have a better tournament than he did at the Australian Open, and expect him to come out concentrated and able to win this match easily.
