The final day of the Adria Tour's stop in Zadar is here! We have some exciting matchups to come and even more incredible exhibition tennis. Will some of the younger players cause some upsets, or will the best players dominate? Here are our picks for the final day here in Zadar:
Borna Coric vs. Pedja Krstin:
Borna Coric is looking very impressive after finally recovering from injuries that ruined his 2019 season. The young Croat will want to get as many minutes of competitive tennis under his belt and he will want to reach the final here in Zadar. Pedja Krstin also somewhat impressed on Saturday, putting on a solid performance in the first set against Novak Djokovic. Coric is a man on a mission, and unfortunately, I do not see a challenger level player in Krstin hurting him today.
Pick: Borna Coric
Alexander Zverev vs. Andrey Rublev:
Andrey Rublev was superb on Saturday and Alexander Zverev was extremely subpar on the other hand. Zverev is just terrible on his serve, he looks even worse than last year. Zverev has never lost to Rublev, beating the Russian 4 times in a row in their meetings. However, Rublev is in much better form and if Zverev can't serve properly, there's no chance for the German.
Pick: Andrey Rublev
Novak Djokovic vs. Nino Serdarusic:
Novak Djokovic was incredible on Saturday, winning both of his matches easily. Djokovic has already qualified for the final tonight and he will be looking to use this match as a warm-up. Nino Serdarusic is replacing Grigor Dimitrov who had to retire due to injury. Nino has no chance here against the world No.1 unfortunately, and this match will not last more than 30-40 minutes.
Pick: Novak Djokovic
Marin Cilic vs. Danilo Petrovic:
Marin Cilic looks in great form after injury issues which plagued his 2019 season. Cilic went 1-1 on Saturday, losing to Rublev and beating Zverev. Cilic will want to get another win under his belt to get his confidence and momentum going. Danilo Petrovic was also great on Saturday, beating Alexander Zverev with ease. This match will be tight, but experience will prevail.
Pick: Marin Cilic
