In this article, we will formulate a Southampton vs Ipswich Town Prediction for this English Premier League game on Saturday, September 21st at St. Mary’s Stadium. To formulate this prediction, we will examine:

-Southampton’s recent form and recent player performance

-Ipswich Town’s recent form and recent play performance

-A summary that ties it all together and produces a favorable betting outcome for today’s game between Southampton and Ipswich Town.

Southampton Betting Preview

Southampton currently sits in 19th place in the standings having picked up zero points. Last Saturday, Southampton faced off against Manchester United and they were defeated 3-0. On Tuesday, Southampton faced off against Everton, and at the end of regulation, they were tied 1-1. In a shootout though they scored six and only gave up five, and they advanced in the EFL Cup. Taylor Harwood-Bellis scored in the 32nd minute to tie up the game. Southampton had 75 percent of the possession and four shots on target. One big issue for Southampton is all the injuries they are dealing with. Gavin Bazunu is dealing with an Achilles injury and isn’t going to be able to go here.

Ipswich Town Betting Preview

Ipswich Town comes into this game sitting in 17th place in the standings having picked up two points. Ipswich Town has played to a draw in each of the last tw gaoems. In the last game against Brighton, Ipswich Town’s defense gave up zero goals but the offense couldn’t get anything going. Ipswich Town is pretty healthy heading into this game. Leif Davis is going to start again in this game and they are going to need a big game here.

Southampton vs Ipswich Town Prediction

I really don’t trust either of these offenses and that is going to be the difference here. Especially Ipswich Town is going to struggle to get any sort of offense going and they might not even have a quality  scoring chance here. Southampton might find the back of the net once, but I wouldn’t even count on that. At most there is going to be one goal scored here. Back the under to cash.
