-A summary that ties it all together produces a favorable betting outcome for today’s game between West Ham United vs Aston Villa.
West Ham United Betting Preview
It’s the start of the Julen Lopetegui era for West Ham United when they step onto the pitch on Saturday. West Ham United had mixed results heading into this game. Two games ago against Crystal Palace they were defeated 3-1 and in the last game they won in penalty kicks against Celta Vigo. Before penalty kicks the score was tied 2-2. Edson Alvarez is still dealing with a hamstring injury and it’s unclear who he’s going to be out but he will for sure be out for this game. Aaron Wan-Bissaka just joined the team and although the team could really use him here, it’s hard to imagine they are going to already throw him into the starting lineup.
Aston Villa Betting Preview
On the other side of this matchup is Aston Villa who really struggled in the last game. Aston Villa faced off against Dortmund and they failed to score any goals while the defense gave up two goals. , Boubacar Kamara and Tyrone Mings are both dealing with serious knee injuries that they are looking to recover from. That recovery won’t happen yet though, and not having them will be big losses. In the last game, Aston Villa failed to score any goals, and they are going to need to change that here. Aston VIlla needs to try and get out to a fast start and really try to put the pressure on.
West Ham United vs Aston Villa Prediction
This is not my favorite game, as both of these teams were inconsistent in the leadup to it. I do think on paper that West Ham United is the better team, and they are going to get out to a fast start. Aston Villa’s offense is going to really struggle to get anything going, and it’s going to be West Ham United that will end up getting the job done. Back West Ham United on the money line.
