In this article, we will formulate a Spain vs France Prediction for this UEFA Euro 2024 match on Tuesday, July 9th at Allianz Arena. To formulate this prediction, we will examine:
-Spain’s recent form and recent player performance
-France’s recent form and recent play performance
-A summary that ties it all together and produces a favorable betting outcome for today’s game between France and Spain.
France Betting Preview
France hasn’t ever looked exactly dominant during this tournament but they are still only two wins away from winning the title. During the Round of 16 they faced off against Belgium and they were able to secure the 1-0 victory. In the quarter-final on Friday they faced off against Portugal and the defense was dominant. It took all the penalties kick until they were able to win 5-3 to advance. Kylian Mbappe is still dealing with the nose injury which still clearly is playing an issue. It caused him to leave the last game early and they really need him to play a full game here.
Spain Betting Preview
On the other side of this matchup is Spain who has played well this tournament and they should have a ton of confidence heading into this game. In the Round of 16, Spain was able to secure the 4-1 victory over Georgia, and in the last game against Germany they were able to secure the 2-1 victory. Dani Olmi scored the first goal in the 51st minute. The defense did give up a goal late in the seocnd half though. In the 119th minute Mikel Marino scored the game winner in the 119th minute. Dani Carvejal did pick up a red card in the 126th minute. Robin Le Normand is also going to be suspended because of yellow cards picked up. Nacho is expected to get a spot here, and they are going to need him to have a big game.
Spain vs France Prediction
France’s defense has been so dominant and it’s going to be no difference here. Spain’s offense has been good heading into this game, but they are going to really struggle to get anything going here. After 120 minutes in the last game for France the score was 0-0 and it wouldn’t shock me if that’s what this game ended at also. At max there will be one goal scored and the under is going to cash.
