Manchester United and FC Copenhagen face off in a Europa League quarter-final at RheinEnergieSTADION in Cologne Germany.

Manchester United had no issue getting past LASK Linz in the round of 16 beating them 7-1 on aggregate. In terms of injuries for Manchester United, they will be without Axel Tuanzebe and Luke Shaw who will be out the rest of the season. Phil Jones also didn’t travel with the team. United hasn’t announced who will be their starters for their squad, but it will be interesting to see if Sergio Romero or David de Gea will get the start. 

Manchester United’s last game came against LASK Linz, a game they rested a lot of their starters and they still came away with a 2-1 victory. In that game, Manchester United had 64 percent of the possession, and that was enough to come away with a victory. In this game, Manchester United is going to need to push numbers forward and try to get the first goal. If they can get the first goal, that is going to put a lot of pressure on FC Copenhagen.

FC Copenhagen shocked almost everyone when they beat the Turkish champions Istanbul Basaksehir in the round of 16. Coming into FC Copenhagen’s last game they were down 1-0 on aggregate, but they were able to score three goals while giving up zero and that led to them advancing. FC Copenhagen has won each of their last three games. And their offense has looked really good.

In this game though, in terms of talent they are lacking, so it’s probably going to take a good defensive effort to start to come away with a victory. If the defense struggles in this game early, they are going to be in big trouble and will probably come away with a loss. 

Manchester United is going to make life tough in this game and they are going to have no issue in this game, but there is no value with betting them on the money line. Instead, look for plenty of goals scored and for this game to go over 3.5 goals at plus money.
