Manchester United and LASK face off in the second leg of their round of 16 Europa league matchup against LASK. In the first leg of this series, Manchester United came away with a 5-0 victory, so if they didn’t advance to the next round it would be shocking. 

Manchester United has found a lot of success since the restart of their season, and they will be playing in the Champions League next year. As much success as the Red Devils have had as of late, they struggled in their last game in the FA Cup against Chelsea. In that game, United fell behind 3-0 and one late goal wasn’t able to keep it close. 

In terms of who will be starting for Manchester United, there will probably be some players like Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Daniel James, Fred and Scott McTominay who could make their way into this lineup. With a 5-0 lead they will probably play a defensive position but this is a chance for some of the younger guys to make a strong impact on the squad.

On the other side of this matchup is LASK who haven’t found a whole lot of success since the COVID shutdown. Before the shutdown LASK was in first place of the Austrian Bundesliga but they were docked 12 points for breaking coronavirus related safety rules. Since the league has started back up, LASK has only won two of their ten games. This team also has a different manager since the last time they faced off with Manchester United. The big problem for LASK has been with their offense and it’s struggles to score goals. Each of the last two games, LASK has been shutout each of the last two games and over the last four games they have scored only one run total. 

In terms of betting this really isn’t a game that should be bet big but there is still a strong play in this game. Manchester United should play a more defensive shape, and it’s pretty clear LASK isn’t going to have a whole lot of success. Back the under to cash in this game.
