Over 2.5 (-175), Under 2.5 (+137)
Leicester is hosting Arsenal at King Power Stadium in one of the most interesting matches in round 12 of the English Premier League.
Leicester is playing in an amazing form and has displayed some of the best soccer in the EPL, even better than 3 years ago when they won the title. In their last 21 games, Leicester has lost only 2 games and that started last season with the arrival of Brendan Rodgers to the head coach position. In their latest game in the EPL against Crystal Palace, Leicester was dominant with 56% of ball possession, 5 shots on goal, 6 corner kicks, and 82% of correct passes. Leicester has won this match 0-2 and has won important 3 points. With 23 points, massive 27 scored goals, and only 8 conceded goals Leicester is in 3rd place ins the standings and alongside Chelsea is the legit competition to Manchester City and Liverpool for the title. Jamie Vardy has scored 10 goals for Leicester and is one of the top goalscorers in the EPL and the last time he had a season this good, Leicester won the title. James Matty is the only injured player for Leicester. Brenda Rodgers is a good coach who brought stability in the midfield for Leicester and some key players like Vardy and Maddison are playing their best soccer because of that which is visible in Leicester's results this season. Leicester is playing fun soccer, and comparing to the last few seasons, Leicester has the ball possession which allows them to attack more than defend and because of that Leicester scored 27 goals which are more than Liverpool.
Arsenal has been struggling for the last few weeks and hasn’t won any of their last 3 games. With 17 points, Arsenal is in the 5th place in the EPL but they are not playing good, their form is dropping and coach Emery has to do something to turn things around. In the Europa League Arsenal is still undefeated and is playing much better than they play in the EPL. In their last EPL game against Wolverhampton, Arsenal had 57% of ball possession, 4 shots on goal, 8 corner kicks, and 86% of correct passes. Aubameyang scored in the first half but Wolverhampton managed to get back and the game ended in a 1-1 draw. Aubameyang has scored 8 goals for Arsenal and is their top goalscorer and he is the only Arsenal's striker who is playing in good form which is a problem for Arsenal because their defense is still shaky and they need to score more than they concede. There has been a lot of turbulence in Arsenal for the last 2 weeks and Xhaka has lost his captaincy due to bad behavior when he was substituted a few weeks ago. The new captain will be Aubameyang who has been Arsenal's best player for the last two seasons. Arsenal is playing in the Europa League 2 days before this game and for a team that has a lot of problems with consistency, this could be a big problem.
All trends aside, I'm not betting against this Leicester team who is playing great soccer and is scoring a lot of goals. On top of that Arsenal is playing in the Europa League 2 days before this game and I just don't see them winning here.
