Barcelona is hosting Celta Vigo at Camp Nou in part of round 13 of Spanish LaLiga.

Barcelona is in a serious slump and hasn't won any of their last 2 games, and has scored only 1 goal. In the Champions League earlier this week Barcelona was playing against Slavia Prague at home but wasn't able to score a goal and the game ended in a 0-0 draw. In their last game in LaLiga against Levante, Barcelona had 66% of ball possession, 6 shots on goal, 3 corner kicks, and 89% of correct passes. Barcelona was sloppy in this game on the offensive end and after leading 0-1 at the half-time, Barcelona conceded 3 goals in 7 minutes and lost this match 3-1. Suarez has scored 6 goals for Barcelona, while Messi added 5 goals and 4 assists. For the first time in a while, Barcelona doesn't have any injuries and coach Valverde will have all of his players at his disposal. Griezman, who was Barcelona's biggest purchase this summer is still struggling a bit and getting used to playing with Messi but I'm sure his time will come soon and he will prove that he is worth the money. Messi has already missed a lot of games this season due to the injury but is slowly waking up and getting ready to carry this team. Barcelona's biggest problem right now is their midfield where they can't control the ball as they used to and coach Valverde has to make some changes if they want to get out of this slump. It's only a matter of time before Barcelona starts scoring goals again and this game is the perfect opportunity for that.

Celta Vigo has a great team but is struggling on both ends dating back to last season. With only 2 wins, 3 draws, and 7 losses, Celta is in the 18th place in LaLiga with only 9 points and they need to make some changes fast. In their last LaLiga match against Getafe, Celta had 62% of ball possession, 2 shots on goal, 4 corner kicks, and really low 62% of correct passes. Celta was a disaster on both ends and has lost this match 0-1 at home. Aspas has scored 2 goals for Celta so far and is their leading goal scorer which just shows us how bad Celta is in the attacking zone. Defensively Celta is solid with 15 conceded goals which are enough for 13th or 14th place but for that to happen Celta has to start scoring goals. Vazquez, Beauvue, Santi Mina, and Rafinha are all injured and will not be playing in this game. Two years ago Celta was playing great soccer and was close to the European competitions, but last year something went wrong with this team and Celta barely stayed in LaLiga with only 4 points outside the relegation zone. Francisco Escriba Segura was fired after last week's loss and I think this could be a potentially good thing for this team and it might shake them up. Oscar Garcia is the new head coach in Celta Vigo who hasn't coached in over a year and I don't think this is a long term solution but we will see.

Games between Barcelona and Celta Vigo are always fun and eventful and more importantly, there is a lot of goals being scored. I'm giving a slight edge to Barcelona because they are the better team but I will rather choose something on goals here.
