Over 2.5 (-150), Under 2.5 (+120)
Brescia is hosting Inter at Stadio Mario Rigamonti in part of round 10 of Italian Serie A.
Brescia isn’t playing good soccer and has won only 1 of their last 6 matches in Serie A. With only 7 points, 8 scored goals and 12 conceded goals Brescia is in 18th place in the standings and that is where they will stay for most of the season because Brescia is one of the weakest teams in Serie A and it will be really hard for them to keep their Serie A status. In their last match against Genoa, Brescia was a disaster with only 38% of ball possession, 2 shots on goal, 3 corner kicks, and only 76% of correct passes. Brescia was bad in this match and has deservedly lost this game 3-1. Alfredo Donnarumma is Brescia's top goalscorer with 4 goals. Martella, Dessena, and Tremolada are all injured while Torregrossa is still listed as questionable for this match. Plain and simple, Brescia is just a weak team who doesn't have the quality or depth to compete in the Serie A and there is nothing coach Corini can do about that. Brescia has won Serie B last season and has got promoted to Serie A, and if all the players that were in the team last season stayed, Brescia might have had the shot to be a few places higher in the standings and keep their Serie A status, but with this roster, don't see that happening and Brescia will be one of the teams that will get relegated.
Inter has slipped up in their last match against Parma at home where they won only 1 point and failed to take over the first place in the standings. Inter was the better team in that match with 66% of ball possession, 6 shots on goal, 11 corner kicks, and 85% of correct passes. This was a fun game full of goal chances but Inter made to many mistakes on the defensive end and the fatigue from the Champions League match was visible. The game ended in a 2-2 draw. Inter has scored massive 20 goals in Serie A so far and is the second-best attacking team in the league after Atalanta who scored 28 goals. With only 9 conceded goals Inter is one of the best defensive teams in Serie A and that makes them one of the main favorites for the title. Lukaku was Inter's best signing this summer and he already scored 6 goals for the club while Martinez has 4 goals. Sensi added 3 goals and 3 assists for Inter. Sanchez and D'Ambrosio are both injured while Sensi is still questionable for this match. After years of misery and bad soccer, Inter's fans are finally seeing their beloved club playing good soccer, with a lot of scored goals and the team that is a legit candidate for the title that they have been waiting for for so long. Inter is also playing in the Champions League where they are currently in second place with 4 points with good chances to advance past the group stage. Even though the season is still young, I have faith in Inter and I think that coach Conte is doing a fantastic job and I believe he will know how to handle the pressure as the season goes on and those black hole Inter had last season will be reduced to a minimum.
Brescia is just a bad team playing in a bad form while Inter is doing a fantastic job on both ends and for that reason I see them winning this match and doing what they failed to do in their last match, winning all 3 points.
