Dortmund’s had an impressive run of form over the last week and a half, posting three straight wins, including a pair of domestic wins over Schalke and Arminia Bielefeld while also taking down Zenit St. Petersburg in their last Champions League fixture. On the other hand, Brugge sit 2nd in the group after two matches having also defeated Zenit before eking out a draw against Lazio, but Lazio were undermanned in that game, and it’s hard to see Brugge putting a dominant performance against a fully healthy Dortmund side. This could be a bit of a look-ahead for Dortmund with the rivalry game against Bayern coming up, but Brugge haven’t won a Champions League home game in 15 years and I don’t see it happening here. I see Dortmund winning this game 2-1 or maybe even 3-1, so I’ll side with Dortmund to win and both teams to score as my premium pick for this game.
