SUNDAY NIGHT SALVAGER
New England Patriots (3-5) vs Baltimore Ravens (6-2)

This hurts to say as a Patriots fan, but even with a fair share of points, I just can’t like New England’s chances, even at home. I can’t expect Jakobi Meyers to go off again for the Patriots here and there just isn’t a whole lot for Cam Newton to work with. The Ravens are good enough defensively to bottle up Newton and force him to make plays with his arm which is more of a liability than an asset. Sure, New England rallied for a win last week, but there’s not really any situation where having to rally against an 0-9 New York Jets team is excusable. On the other side, the Patriots are having issues defending the run, giving up over 150 yards per game on the ground and while the Ravens haven’t been as explosive as last year’s team and Lamar Jackson doesn’t look like the same MVP-caliber quarterback from last season, he’s still one of the league’s best and should have a field day running against this New England offense. This should be a double-digit win for the Ravens at home all night long in primetime, so I’ll lay the points with Baltimore as I think this one could get ugly.
