SUNDAY NFL SUPER SEVEN #2
Detroit Lions (3-5) vs Washington Football Team (2-6)

I want to say I get the Lions being favored at home, but the fact is that the Lions haven’t had any luck at Ford Field this season, as Detroit is 0-3 SU and ATS at home this season. A lot of it has to do with Kenny Golladay and his time on the injured list, as the Lions have really missed him, putting up just 21.4 points per game while going 0-4 SU and ATS in four games that he’s missed. With no Golladay as Matt Stafford’s top receiver, the Lions appear to just not have any answers. Washington isn’t a great team by any stretch and Alex Smith is far from the top-tier quarterback of years past in his time in Kansas City, but he’s still a solid option with a 5-0 SU and 4-0-1 ATS record in his career against Detroit. The Lions have just been having too many issues offensively to think they can break out of their funk at home here and I think that Washington can do enough with the points to grab a cover here, so I’ll take Washington and the points in this one.
