I initially went Andrade as the memories of that slam knockout played over and over in my head. The problem is that Namajunas was dominating that fight up until the slam, and slam finishes aren’t a common occurrence in the UFC, so I’m not overly confident that Andrade will replicate that finish. The octagon on Fight Island is going to be the regular 30-foot cage and that can help Namajunas who has a three-inch reach advantage. Namajunas is just the better striker and while Andrade can utilize a strong wrestling offense, Namajunas can also scrap on the ground in the event that the fight goes there as Namajunas has a strong submission game. I did think that Andrade’s win would give us a more favorable price, but Namajunas is worth the play here at -215 via DraftKings.
Chris’s Pick Rose Namajunas
