The rematch between Mauricio Rua and Paul Craig was a given after their split draw back in 2019, but that was simply a case of the judges being judges as I personally think Rua won that fight watching back. There just hasn’t been enough of a change since that fight for me to believe that Craig wins this fight or should even be favored here. Rua’s not some washed up bum, he’s still one of the better fighters in that division. Craig’s best chance here is to try to submit Rua, but Craig also struggled with taking Rua down in the first fight and was forced to trade punches against Rua who is easily the better striker. I think this fight plays out the same way and Rua finally gets his win so give me Mauricio Rua on the money line as my premium pick for this fight.
