Texas Rangers (33-35) vs Washington Nationals (25-47)

I get why you wouldn’t look at the Nationals in a lot of spots, but for me, like a lot of betting, it’s about picking spots. I won’t pick the Nats much, but Josiah Gray in the daytime is a new must. In day starts this season, Gray is 4-0 with a 0.84 ERA and on the road this season, Gray is also 4-0 with a 1.89 ERA this season. Gray’s also thrown back-to-back shutouts, sitting on 11 straight scoreless innings coming into this one. Matt bush is tabbed as the opener in Texas’ bullpen game on Saturday and I don’t know if that’s going to do it against Gray. At a coin flip price, I have to side with Gray and the Nats as Gray’s been their best shot at a win for much of the season.
