Washington Nationals (15-30) vs Colorado Rockies (20-23)

The Rockies have had issues on the road to put it nicely, and the Rockies gave Washington a gift in Thursday’s series opener, but I think the Rockies can get some revenge here. Austin Gomber’s had his ups and downs, but he’s done a good job at keeping runners off of the bases and the Nationals have struggled to hit left-handed pitching this year, batting just .210 against lefties at home this season. Aaron Sanchez goes for the Nationals and he just hasn’t been striking as many batters out as he needs to, putting up just 4.23 strikeouts per 9 innings and he’s allowed 5 home runs this year, one in each of his starts,a nd with the power bats that the Rockies have like C.J. Cron and company, I think Colorado will be able to exact some revenge here with one of their better pitchers on the mound.
