Texas Rangers (25-43) vs Minnesota Twins (27-41)

I’ve bashed the Minnesota Twins heavily this season, and it’s justified as the Twins have been the biggest disappointment in the majors after winning the AL Central last year. So much was expected from this team and they’re currently sitting at 27-41 coming into this one. With that said, the Rangers aren’t much better and starting Mike Foltynewicz isn’t going to help things as he’s 1-7 on the year with a 5.48 ERA, is winless in his last eight starts and in two June starts, he’s 0-2 with 13 runs allowed, 12 earned, in 6.1 innings of work for a 17.05 ERA. Jose Berrios goes for the Twins and he’s been the lone bright spot, going 7-2 and it doesn’t take a math major to figure out that he’s accounted for more than a quarter of the Twins’ wins on the mound this season. Sometimes, you just have to ride the pitcher and hope the offense shows up, and I think it does here. Give me the Twins -1.5 in this one to get some extra value out of this bet.
Chris’s Pick Minnesota Twins: -1.5 -105
