I wish I could say I like the Yankees more than I do, but the problem is New York is always banged up and just can never really seem to get all of their top players on the field at the same time. Gerrit Cole certainly hasn’t lived up to the massive contract he signed this past offseason, but it’s year one and he still has a lot of time. On the other side, Shane Bieber goes for Cleveland after claiming the pitching triple crown in the AL, highlighted by a 1.63 ERA and 122 strikeouts. Not to mention Cleveland went 8-2 in Bieber’s ten starts this year. I’ll side with Cleveland here as my premium pick for this game.
