Milwaukee Brewers (27-27) at St. Louis Cardinals (27-25)

The Milwaukee Brewers have been up and down lately, but the Brewers were highly competitive against Cincinnati to start the week and now get Corbin Burnes on the mound who has been stellar this season with a 4-0 record and a 1.77 ERA, including an ERA just over two in five road starts and a 1.25 ERA in four starts this season. Kwang-Hyun Kim has been good for the Cardinals as well, but it’s not a huge sample size in the starting role. St. Louis is licking their wounds after being dismantled by the Royals on Wednesday and a win for Milwaukee here would put an immense amount of pressure on the Cardinals to make this last series count. I think the Brewers get it done behind a strong outing from Burnes, who has held the Cardinals to one run in almost five innings of work earlier this season. Give me Milwaukee as my premium pick for this matchup.
