THURSDAY NIGHT MLB TOP PLAY #3
Los Angeles Dodgers (35-15) at Colorado Rockies (22-26)

It just feels like every time I watch Julio Urias pitch for the Dodgers, he gets hit hard or he doesn’t look like the top pitcher that the Dodgers and their fans keep expecting to see from the guy and while the numbers may not reflect that statement, Urias is a guy that rarely goes past the 6th inning and he’s alternated good and bad starts in his last four outings and if that pattern continues, he’s due for a bad start here, kind of like the one two starts ago where Urias allowed four runs in 4.1 innings against these same Rockies, not to mention the Dodgers have lost four of Urias’ last five starts. Kyle Freeland is from Colorado so he’s used to the altitude and He’s still a solid pitcher at home with an ERA just over four at home this season which for Coors isn’t bad. The Rockies are running out of chances to make up ground in the playoff race and I think we see a desperate Rockies bunch here who pick up a win as my premium pick for this game.
