THREE SPORT THURSDAY MLB #1
Toronto Blue Jays (19-16) at Boston Red Sox (12-25)

Boston’s had the upper hand on the Toronto Blue Jays in recent years, but I think it’s safe and more than fair to say that this Boston team isn’t even close to the level of those teams that beat up on Toronto in years past. Martin Perez starts here for Toronto and while he’s had career success against Toronto in the past with a 2-2 record and an ERA around three, he’s also coming in off of a start where he allowed six runs in four innings and the Red Sox have also lost Perez’s last four starts. Taijuan Walker comes in after throwing a gem for Toronto in his Blue Jay debut at Sahlen Field, throwing six shutout innings at a venue like Sahlen where runs have been plated left and right. I just think with the way Toronto’s been playing behind, behind their new pitcher and coming up against a struggling Boston team, this price is too good to pass on. Give me Toronto on the moneyline here as my premium pick for this game.
