Macaroni and Cheese. Peanut Butter and Jelly. Bacon and Eggs. The Seattle Mariners and the over. These are all just things that go together, especially Seattle and the over, as the over is 6-0-1 in Mariners’ games this season. I think that continues here as you have Taijuan Walker going for the Mariners and he didn’t look good in his first start of the year, allowing five runs in 3.1 innings vs. the Angels. Oakland isn’t a team that you can afford to make mistakes against as they’ll make you pay on the scoreboard. On the other side, Sean Manaea pitches for Oakland and while he’s normally on point, his first start saw him finish with a 7.71 ERA coming into this game and with how well the Mariners have swung the bats in their last couple of games, I could see Seattle plating some runs as well. No matter how you slice it, I have to keep riding the overs until it stops cashing. Give me the over as my premium pick for this game.
