Florida Gulf Coast Eagles (3-5) vs Furman Paladins (7-1)

I’m on Furman here. Florida Gulf Coast doesn’t do much well offensively, but they’re a team that’s dependent on hitting three-pointers to have success and FGCU is top-75 in 3-point shooting. The problem is that Furman is the 2nd-best team in the country at defending the 3, and they’ve been fairly consistent across the board from an offensive perspective. The Paladins shoot the 3rd-most threes in the country, and not only do they shoot it better from the perimeter than FGCU, but the Eagles’ 3-point defense ranks 206th in the country. I think Furman goes on the road and gets the win here so give me the Paladins.
