Flat out, Butler stinks. They’re dead last in the Big East in offensive efficiency, logging less than 90 points per 100 possessions, and only Florida A&M, LIU, and Merrimack are putting up worse efficiency numbers this season. Butler’s also had a tendency to give up when they get down early and the results haven’t been good. Their last four losses have been by 21+, and none of those games came against the Golden Eagles, who lead the country in scoring and lead the Big East in offensive efficiency and turnover percentage. The Golden Eagles score in bunches and don’t turn the ball over. They also get lots of good looks and are leading the country in two-point percentage, shooting 60.6% from 2-point range. I just don’t see the Bulldogs keeping pace here. Give me Marquette laying the points.
