I get that one player doesn’t make an entire team, but UConn losing James Bouknight indefinitely is worst possible scenario for the next little while as he was a huge part of the UConn offense, putting up 20.3 PPG. St. John’s comes in at 0-4 straight up and against the spread on the road this season, but the Johnnies have played in a lot of close games and without Bouknight I think we may see UConn struggle to find their footing kind of the way they did against DePaul, barely eking out a cover at the end of the game. I’m not saying St. John’s wins outright, but this just feels like too many points given the circumstances. I’ll take St. John’s and the points as my premium pick for this game.
