2021 COLLEGE FOOTBALL CIRCLE GAME
Cincinnati Bearcats (9-0) vs Georgia Bulldogs (7-2)

The Georgia Bulldogs are no stranger to the big games of the college football bowl season, so the experience could pay dividends for them here. However, Georgia has some of their biggest names expected to opt out of this game to prepare for the NFL draft, most notably Monty Rice, who was 2nd on the team in tackles, Eric Stokes who led the Bulldogs in interceptions, Ben Cleveland who was arguably their best offensive lineman this season and potentially Azeez Ojulari, who led Georgia in sacks this season, although Kirby Smart is refuting that rumor and why wouldn’t he as you don’t want to show your hand before a bowl game. On the other side, Cincinnati hasn’t shown any fear against anyone this season, running the table and winning the conference championship game and while I think the Bearcats are happy to be in a New Year’s Six bowl game, I also think the Bearcats feel slighted as to not getting more discussion for a potential playoff spot. I expect Cincinnati to come out, play with a chip on their shoulder and to give Georgia all they can handle as the Bearcats have done to every other team they’ve faced this season. I’m just not sold on Georgia’s offense with Stetson Bennett or JT Daniels under center even though the offense did seem to improve with Daniels. I just think that the Bearcats are the more cohesive unit here and are getting little respect once again. Give me Cincinnati on the money line as my premium pick for this game.
