San Jose State was one of my favorite teams to back this season and how could they not be, going 7-0 SU and 6-0-1 ATS as arguably the most surprising story in college football this season. Going against a Ball State team that’s been pretty bad on defense, should set up for a great matchup for the Spartans. However, the Cardinals have the offense to go shot for shot with San Jose State here and as motivated as San Jose State will be to cap off the dream season, Ball State’s motivation for a first bowl win in program history is the added push for the Cardinals to take this game down to the wire. I like the value of the points with Ball State in this one.
