Normally, LSU-Florida is one of the prime rivalry games in the SEC. But this year’s different, as LSU is in a down year of down years and I just don’t see any way out for the program right now, as there’s just been too much turnover to contend right now. Florida on the other hand, is in a bit of a look-ahead spot with the SEC title game against Alabama on deck, but while I think Alabama is primed to look ahead, I think Florida’s focused on the task at hand and that’s sending a message to Alabama that the Gators are coming to the SEC title game and they’re there to win. I just think this is simply a case of wrong place, wrong time for LSU, so I’ll lay the points with Florida in a beatdown.
