The Portland State Vikings will travel to the Dee Events Center to take on the Weber State Wildcats this Saturday night and I think Weber State has no trouble covering this large home spread.

Portland State comes into this game with an overall record of 3-3, however, the Vikings just haven’t played much in competition outside of Iowa in which they lost by 24-points. Portland State’s offense has struggled to start the season as in their 4 games vs. D-1 opponents, the Vikings are averaging just 60.5 ppg.

Weber State has had a great start to their season, coming into this game with a perfect 7-0 record and have been great on both sides of the ball as the Wildcats currently rank 63rd in scoring offense, 10th in FG%, & 67th in scoring defense.

The Vikings are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games, however, are just 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. The Wildcats are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a favorite and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 home games.

Portland State just doesn’t have the offense to keep up with Weber State on the road and as I expect the Wildcats to pull away in the 2nd half, I think they win this one by about 15-20 points and cover this spread. Good Luck!
