Weak team on the glass. Heat defends well sitting fourth in the league in defensive rating by allowing 110.7 points per 100 possessions and tops in the league in limiting points in the paint. Charlotte improved to 14-36 with their 111-96 home win to Chicago Bulls. They did pull down nine more boards than Chicago. Charlotte hit 46% but only 7 of 32 from three. They held the Bulls to 41% shooting and 4 of 25 from three. A third quarter 12-0 run for the Hornets was key. Charlotte is 29th in shooting making only 45.2% and last from three making 32.4%. Hornets 27th in defensive rating allowing 115.6 points per 100 possessions. Heat have won eight of nine averaging 111.2 points per 100 possessions while sitting tops in defensive efficiency allowing 108.4 per 100. Hornet trending under in three straight.
