Denver Nuggets (50-30) at Los Angeles Clippers (53-25)

This is a play on the LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS for our NBA Thursday Supreme Annihilator. Denver is coming off a tough series win over Utah where it trailed 3-1 by winning the final three games and was a rim-out in the final seconds of Game Seven of being eliminated. Now the Nuggets face a daunting task of playing with just one day of rest and facing a Clippers team that has an additional two days of rest. Having two extra days to wait for the end of the Denver allowed more time for Clippers guard Patrick Beverley to recover from a strained left calf. The Nuggets do not have the wing defenders to stop the Clippers combined attack of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Factor in Lou Williams and Landry Shamet who can also get going from the wings and Denver is in a tough place. The Clippers won the season series against Denver 2-1, including a 13-point win August 12th. Here, we play against underdogs of 3.5 to 9.5 points (after beating the spread by 24 or more points total in their last three games, with a winning record on the season playing another winning team. This situation is 93-47 ATS (66.4 percent) over the last five seasons. 10* (736) Los Angeles Clippers
