This is a play on the COLORADO ROCKIES as part of our MLB Wednesday Triple Play. Colorado is not a good team, we all know that, so we have to pick their spots and this is one of those in a good bounce back spot. The Rockies have lost four straight following a seven-game winning streak including two impressive sweeps over Texas and San Diego. Oakland was playing some pretty solid ball for a while as it was 19-22 before going on a 0-8 slide prior to winning the series opener last night, rallying from a 4-2 deficit with three runs in the seventh and eighth innings. Austin Gomber found his way into the rotation despite a 5.50 ERA in 27 starts last season and he is making the most of it. After a rough first outing against Arizona, he has posted a 2.51 ERA over his last eight starts and some of those were against some very potent bats. Mitch Spence is coming off a decent outing as he allowed one run on five hits over 4.2 innings in his first major league start after making his first 11 appearances in the bullpen before replacing injured Alex Wood in the rotation. 10* (979) Colorado Rockies

Matt’s Pick Colorado Rockies: +110
