This is a play on the PITTSBURGH PIRATES as part of our MLB Wednesday Triple Play. The Giants lost the series opener in devastating fashion, allowing four runs in the ninth inning and eventually losing in 10 innings. Pittsburgh won its four-game series in Chicago before heading home and the win last night can carry forward a long way. The Pirates are again catching a good number, this time against a skewed name pitcher. While Paul Skenes is getting all of the rookie attention, fellow rookie Jared Jones is having a season. FanGraphs system credits Jones with the best overall makeup in the Majors so far including Stuff+ and Pitching + metrics, largely thanks to his top-ranking fastball. He has yet to allow more than three runs to post a 2.89 ERA and his 63:7 K:BB ratio has impacted his incredible 0.91 WHIP. Blake Snell is back in the rotation following a trip to the IL after struggling in his first three starts where he posted an 11.57 ERA and 1.97 WHIP. Despite two strong rehab starts and certain positive regression, we are not jumping back on him just yet. 10* (956) Pittsburgh Pirates

Matt’s Pick Pittsburgh Pirates: -120

Credit Guaranteed Packages

Packages with Credit Guarantees automatically give you a credit if the package does not turn a profit—the sum of betting all individual picks. THESE ARE NOT PARLAYS UNLESS OTHERWISE CLEARLY STATED. If a credit guaranteed package does not profit, a credit for its full purchase price is automatically issued after picks are graded and verified.

For example, if you purchase a $39.95 package that doesn’t profit, you’ll get a $39.95 credit towards any future purchase(s) on our site. Credits are usually issued within hours of a game’s conclusion, so please allow a few hours for final verification.

To use your credits, log in to your account and add another package or pass to your cart. Credits will automatically reduce what you owe. Any remaining balance will be settled through our payment system, with any leftover credits available future purchases. Credits do not expire.
