Newsome and the Mariners will host Anderson and the Giants. They're the hotter team and Newsome's been the better pitcher's so far this season. This will only be his 4th MLB start but he's already faced some of the best hitters in the league. His debut was against the Dodgers where he went 3 innings, giving up just 1 run. His second outing was against the Padres where he went 4 innings giving up just 1 run again. His 3rd outing was his worst against San Francisco where he only lasted 1.1 innings before getting pulled. What impresses me most is that he went right after all these great batters, walking 0 of them and striking 7 of them out through the 3 games. Anderson's been very inconsistent this season but hasn't faced too many good offenses and coming off a 6 inning shutout of these Mariners so I expect Seattle to really come our swinging for him this time. Seattle also lost both games to the Giants in their last 2 game mini-series, so they'll really want their payback here. Let's take the Mariners on the Moneyline.
