Take Iowa State. The Oregon Ducks are the PAC 12 Champions even though their record is just 4-2. Iowa State is 8-3 after losing a close game to Oklahoma 27-21 in the Big12 Championship. Iowa State uses a lot of 13 personnel offensively (1 RB, 3 TE) and runs a 3-3-5 defense. Oregon has not played against a team this season that has used that type of personnel on either side of the ball. Iowa State should be highly motivated for this game after getting crushed in their bowl game last year. Matt Campbell has done a great job at Iowa State and I really like their QB Purdy as well. Iowa State gets the win and cover.
