Jeter's Wednesday MLB Postseason Pick # 3

Heading back to Petco Park in San Diego where the Tampa Bay Rays are taking on the New York Yankees in game 3 of the ALDS. The series is tied 1-1, and now we make our way to third man rotation. Charlie Morton (2-2 ERA: 4.74) for the Rays will square off against Masashiro Tanaka (3-3 ERA: 4.33). Charlie Morton has not pitched over 6 innings on the 2020 season. The Rays have won 2 games against the Yankees when Morton has started, but Morton only pitched 2 innings in each game. Morton has gone 5 innings in each of the last 2 starts, but still has a higher WHIP of 1.5 in those 2 starts. On the other side Masashiro Tanaka for the Yankees has faced Tampa 3 times in 2020, 1 win 1 loss and 1 no decision. Tanaka had 5 starts in September, and the Yankees capped him around the 90 pitch mark in each game. Both games in the series have gone over, and now we have the 3rd man rotation on Wednesday.
