The Cleveland Indians will play host to the New York Yankees on Tuesday evening for Game 1 of the Wild Card at Progressive Field. Shane Bieber (8-1 ERA: 1.63) goes for the Indians and Gerrit Cole (7-3 ERA: 2.84) will take the mound for the Yankees. The pitching matchup is great in Tuesday's game and that means runs will be at a premium. Gerrit Cole started the 2020 season off very well then slumped mid August. Cole picked up the pace after winning all of the last 3 starts. Over the last 3 starts, Cole has maintained a WHIP under .71 and has averaged 8 strikeouts per game. Meanwhile, Shane Bieber will go for the Cleveland Indians. Bieber an impressive 8-1 in the regular season and a season average WHIP of .866, best of his evolving career. I think Bieber will do enough to get the job done against the Yankees, take the Indians on the money line.
