San Francisco 49ers (2-0) vs Green Bay Packers (1-1)
Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 8:20 pm
This is the third time in three seasons these two teams will play in San Francisco, and they know each other pretty well. Green Bay had a tough loss in Week 1 to New Orleans, but turned it around last week. Aaron Rodgers went for 22 of 27 for 255 yards and four touchdowns and earning a 35-17 win to Detroit. San Francisco lost Raheem Mostert for the season due to knee injury in its opener game and likely to loss Mycal Hasty for a short time due to his ankle sprain. They also have two other banged up players, rookie Elijah Mitchell (shoulder) and Trey Sermon (head). Plus, last year’s leading rusher Jeff Wilson isn’t expected back until November. The niners defense hasn’t been that great. They were nearly out yarded by the Lions and got outdone by the Eagles. Detroit and Philadelphia are two teams not even close to the offense of Green Bay. The 49’ers are 2-6 ATS their last eight home games and 5-20-1 ATS their last 26 as a home favorite. Play the Packers.
