Both of these teams come into this game towards the bottom of their division standings, but the Islanders are still holding onto hope of making the postseason. New York is 13-13-2 at home this season, while Nashville is 6-18-4 on the road. The Islanders really have not played well in their last five games, but Sorokin played very well to beat the Bruins in their last game. Nashville is one of the most disappointing teams in the NHL this year, but they have won three of their last five games, including two nice wins over the Jets and Avalanche.
