Florida Panthers Betting Preview

The Florida Panthers are 6-6-1 this year after they lost to Anaheim by a score of 7-3 in their last game. Florida led 3-2 in the second period, but they allowed the last five goals in the game for the rough loss. The Panthers were out shot by a total of 32-21, won 44.8% of the face-offs, and went 1-5 on the power play in the game. Florida got goals from Luostarinen, Marchand, and Rodrigues, while Bobrovsky stopped 25 out of 32 shots, which was a .781 save percentage.

Prior to that game, Florida defeated the Stars by a score of 4-3, but did lose to the Ducks by a score of 3-2 before that. The Panthers have alternated wins and losses over their last seven games and they are currently last in the Atlantic standings with 13 points. Florida has scored 2.54 goals per game and they have allowed 3.08 goals against per game, while also going 20.0% on the power play and 75.0% on the penalty kill this season. Brad Marchand has led Florida with seven goals and six assists, while Anton Lundell has added three goals and six assists. The projected starting goalie for Florida is Sergei Bobrovsky, who is 6-4-0 with a 2.82 goals against average and an .883 save percentage this year.

Los Angeles Kings Betting Preview

The Los Angeles Kings are 6-4-4 this season after they defeated Winnipeg by a score of 3-0 in their last game. Los Angeles scored once in the first period and twice in the third for the shutout win. Panthers vs Kings Prediction

Florida comes into this matchup at the bottom of their division standings, but they have been very good at not losing two games in a row over the last week or so. The Panthers are 1-5-0 on the road this year, while the Kings are 1-3-2 at home. Los Angeles got a nice victory over Winnipeg in their last game and they are 3-1-1 in their last five. I do think these two teams are very evenly matched, but Florida’s defense is a problem and they have really struggled on the road. Take the Kings to win here.
