As I previously mentioned, the Hurricanes are as good as any team in the NHL, so they’re going to be favored a lot, especially at home. However, the Devils are far from pushovers, and they’re not going to be big underdogs a lot this season. Season openers where teams are getting their feet under them, this feels like a spot to take a shot in the dark with the big plus money. We’re getting a nice price with a playoff contender.
