Prior to this series, the Panthers defeated the Lightning in five games in the first round and the Maple Leafs in seven games in the second round. Florida had very little problem getting by Tampa Bay to start the postseason, but Toronto gave them a very good test, before Florida won game seven in a blowout. Florida has scored 3.00 goals per game and they have allowed 2.72 goals against per game, while also going 23.5% on the power play and 80.7% on the penalty kill this season. Hurricanes vs Panthers Prediction

Florida has absolutely dominated the first two games in this series on the road and they will return home looking to go up 3-0 with a win here. The Panthers played very well on home ice this season, but they did lose game three against TB at home and game six against Toronto at home. Carolina hasn’t been competitive in the series, but I would expect a strong push from them here, as this is very close to a must win game. It may seem crazy to go against Florida in this spot, but I think Carolina has a ton of value at this price, especially with how they typically play defense. Take the Hurricanes here.
