Anaheim Ducks Betting Preview

The Anaheim Ducks are tied 2-2 in this series after they split the first four games by scores of 1-3, 3-1, 2-6, and 4-3. In game four, Anaheim took a 3-2 lead late in the second and they added one more early in the third in the win. Anaheim got goals from Granlund, Killorn, Sennecke, and Moore, while Dostal stopped 18 out of 21 shots, which was an .857 save percentage.

Prior to this series, Anaheim defeated the Oilers in six games by scores of 3-4, 6-4, 7-4, 4-3, 1-4, and 5-2. The Ducks have alternated wins and losses over their last seven games and they finished third in the Pacific standings with 92 points. Anaheim scored 3.23 goals per game and they allowed 3.51 goals against per game, while also going 18.6% on the power play and 76.4% on the penalty kill this season. The projected starting goalie for Anaheim is Lukas Dostal, who is 6-4 with a 3.43 goals against average and an .874 save percentage this postseason.

Vegas Golden Knights Betting Preview

The Vegas Golden Knights are tied 2-2 in this series after they lost game four by a score of 4-3 on Sunday. Vegas tied the game at one in the first and at two in the second, but they fell just short in the third for the loss. The Golden Knights recorded 21 shots on goal, won 52.9% of the face-offs, and went 1-3 on the power play in the game. Ducks vs Golden Knights Prediction

Anaheim was able to even the series at two with a nice win in game four, but they have had trouble winning back to back games recently. The Ducks were 19-20-2 on the road this year, while the Golden Knights were 20-12-9 at home. Vegas continues to struggle with Anaheim this year, as they have lost five of the seven games. I think these teams continue to be very evenly matched, but the Anaheim defense/goaltending could be a problem. Take the over here, as Anaheim has gone over 6.5 goals in seven of their ten playoff games.

David Racey's Pick: Over 6.5
