Capitals vs Hurricanes Prediction

Carolina dropped a very tough game to Florida to open their season on Tuesday, but they will be on home ice once again here. Washington nearly made the playoffs last year and they will be extremely dependent on Ovechkin for their goal scoring. The Capitals were very solid defensively last year and Thompson is a very strong goalie. This is a good early season matchup, but I expect Carolina to get their first win, especially on home ice.
