Boston Bruins Betting Preview

The Boston Bruins are 1-0-0 this season after they defeated the Rangers by a score of 3-0 in their first game. Boston played great defense in the game and they scored three times in the last four minutes for the win. The Bruins were out shot by a total of 24-23, won 50% of the face-offs, and went 0-1 on the power play in the game. Boston was led by Minten, who had one goal and one assist, while Jeremy Swayman stopped all 24 shots in the shutout win.

The Bruins were 45-27-10 last year and they finished with 100 points, which was fourth in the Atlantic Division. Boston made the playoffs in a wild card spot, but they were nine points behind the Sabres in first. The Bruins started the year with a 3-1 win over the Capitals and they actually won each of their first three games. Boston wasn’t great over the first few months of the season, but they played much better starting January. The Bruins played the Sabres in the first round of the playoffs, but they lost in six games. Boston scored 268 goals in 2025, which was 10th in the NHL, while they allowed 247 goals against, which was 14th.

Winnipeg Jets Betting Preview

The Winnipeg Jets were 35-35-12 last year and they finished with 82 points, which was second to last in the Central Division. Winnipeg was 10 points ahead of Chicago in last, while they were 10 points out of the last playoff spot in the division. In the preseason, Winnipeg went 1-2-1, which was tied for fifth in the Central Division. The Jets defeated the Avalanche, but lost to the Oilers twice and Avalanche once. Bruins vs Jets Prediction

Boston was able to get the low scoring win on Wednesday to start their season, but they will be on the road here. Winnipeg has yet to play this year, but they will be looking to bounce back from a rough 25-26 season. The Jets have an interesting goalie situation, as Hellebuyck refuses to play and wants a trade. I think the Jets are the slightly better team, but I need to see Skinner play well before backing him. Take Boston on the road.
