Boston Bruins Betting Preview

The Boston Bruins are 17-13-0 this season after they defeated New Jersey by a score of 4-1 in their last game. Prior to that game, Boston defeated the Blues by a score of 5-2, but did lose to the Red Wings by a score of 5-4 before that. The Bruins have won three of their last four games and they are currently second in the Atlantic standings with 34 points. Boston has scored 3.13 goals per game and they have allowed 3.13 goals against per game, while also going 25.0% on the power play and 83.0% on the penalty kill this season. The projected starting goalie for Boston is Jeremy Swayman, who is 12-7-0 with a 2.70 goals against average and a .913 save percentage this season.

Bruins vs Blues Prediction

Boston comes into this matchup after winning three of their last four games and they have scored at least four goals in three straight. The Bruins are 6-8-0 on the road this year, while the Blues are 5-6-4 at home. St. Louis is looking for their third straight win, but they have scored two goals or fewer in four of their last five. I would love to know if Pastrnak will be playing, but I am going to back the Bruins, as I don’t trust the St. Louis offense.

David Racey's Pick: Bruins ML
